Technology has evolved for a long time into what we know it as today. From ox carts to horse buggies to cars to flying cars, from tablets of stone to rope to papyrus to scrolls to letters to Morse code, to phones, to computers to smartphones and supercomputer s. These are only some of the best examples of how technology has evolved. But now in the modern age we have technology that we use for our specific needs. So, what would mine be?
As per my “love letter”, you can see that the first piece of technology I use in earnest would be my smartphone. I use it for multiple things such as reading, gaming, researching, a light, a nightlight, a TV and other uses. As a mini computer, it works even faster than other pieces of technology that I use, such as my computer.
My computer, made around 2007 with a system that still works well is still very useful for what I need it to do. Of course most of anything related to the internet is still done on my smartphone, but when it comes to doing anything related to schoolwork I use my trusty computer. I would like to update my Microsoft Word from 2007 to 2016 though, but other than that I’m satisfied with my computer. (Of course if someone ever offered me a newer system for free I certainly would not decline)
If we are talking about an older piece of technology, my cell phone would definitely fit in that category. The internet on my cellphone is seemly nearly non-existent. It does do a good job with its original job however, which is to deliver calls and text messages, so I can’t complain.
My final piece of technology has to be our glass stove top. No one nowadays really thinks about how wonderful of an invention the electrical stove top can be. While my personal preference of the perfect stove would be a gas stove, our stove goes above and beyond in serving its purpose, to help create delicious food.
