Springtime

Old Man Winter seems to have a cold or something, as Miss Spring has been poking her head out ever so often while he was at work. Perhaps he grew sick and tired of her antics, and made a deal with her. But now that it’s her turn to rule, Old Man Winter decided to do the same thing to Miss Spring. Perhaps this will continue on until Mr. Summer decides to peep in. For now however, we are in the reign of Miss Spring.

During her rule we enjoy her pleasant weather and get annoyed at her pollen and rainy antics. She usually calls her friends the birds and bees back to help out the trees, which she wakes up from their napping. Seeing that Old Man Winter pulled the time forward, She decides to bring more sun and less night for everyone. That way they could go outside more, instead of every time it snows.

Overall as a citizen of her kingdom, I enjoy some of her weather while getting annoyed or sick from some of her antics just like any other citizen. But still, I like her all the same, and the year just wouldn’t be right without her, just like it wouldn’t be right without Old Man Winter and his grumpy yet heartfelt antics. I look forward to seeing what Mr. Summer has planned for his rule.
